Because Sometimes My Brain Doesn't Work

Dudes...today I seem to not be able to function.  This video will show you an example of that.  And me writing and writing and writing and writing and writing and writing and writing will show you too.  I promise you I've never done drugs but I had a friend in high school who said that if he didn't know me he would think I was the biggest stoner.  I can't say that this is what he was talking about since I didn't have the usual haul of food with me here but yeah.  My brain just turns off sometimes and while this was supposed to be a one sentence thing it is now a paragraph .. but it appears that it really looks like a long sentence but here I am still typing and have no clue as to what is going on now.  So watch the video and then I will elaborate and tell more stories of how my day went on later and what didn't work with me and things.

I don't get like this often but when I do..it's bad.  I swear this morning at work I was a high functioning dental assistant but once I got home it all just disappeared.  Good thing I got home early and have the rest of the week off so my mind can just chillax and stuff.

Here I had plans of telling more stories about my evening but it kind of disappeared and I have no clue what I was going to mention...

Maybe check out my Twitter feed for today and you'll have an idea.  I wanted to make a rant video about dumb electronics that just don't function right .. similar to me tonight I guess.  But whatevs.  And if you want to see the full video of this .. here is the link .. I seriously accidentally uploaded it thinking it was the edited version.  I was wondering why it took so long since it was supposed to only be a 3 minute something video.  Also with the settings I have for that unedited footage .. that's not public on YouTube so like..that's a little secret we can share in this blogpost with each other and have lots of fun not laughing about it together.  Plus I want to remake it another time when I can be a bit more put together.

I seriously did get my oil changed tonight.

Thanks to Instagram I have a new necklace!  Then, Now, Always "liked" my photo about my PDX Shopping.  It's pretty adorbs!!  I wish I bought the purple one that matches these Janoski's - but I ordered it before I knew what colors I was going to get.

Olympus Has Fallen

A little more about Safe Haven...Two things!  First is the first time I saw the ending of the movie I got it once I heard Jo's voice.  And so the second time I saw it (with a different guy) I almost pulled out my phone so I could take a picture of his reaction.  Haha..I knew that he would be very dramatic about it and I'm sooo bummed that I didn't take a picture!!  It's funny though - I told him I was going to take a picture but had decided not to and it turns out he has a video of his sister's reaction to the end of the movie.  And you can see that here.  Second .. both guys I saw the movie with went to the bathroom at the same time(ish) in the movie.  Hmm..?

Okay but onto why we're here.  Olympus Has Fallen.

 

OOTN: Splendid, DL1961, Nike Janoski's

I went to dinner and a movie with a guy and I wanted to look cute and a little dressy but still casual and comfortable.  It was after I spent the afternoon snowboarding with Peytyn so I wasn't down for wearing the heels I normally wear with this outfit.  The purple on the shoes and shirt match closer than the picture shows (flash...) and my date was a fan of it!  

I got this outfit when I was working in t.b.d. at Nordstrom and the DL1961 "Cindy" jeans are super comfortable.  They're a slim boot and I like that for my Janoski's.  I feel like I wear a lot of skinny jeans (because I do) and so it's nice to mix it up and have a little bit of a flare.  I do have a few super flare jeans that I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE .. but those require heels to wear since they're so long and I wasn't down to wear that tonight.  Plus I just got these shoes the day before and wanted to show them off!

Meeting Ty Pennington & PDX Shopping

Cassie and I had some time this afternoon for some shopping so we went to Upper Playground and Compound .. along the way we met Ty Pennington at the food carts!

Spring is Here

Before I get into today's post I want to share something my friend sent me after we were done hanging out today:

I also have one other Car Flirting story another friend of mine is going to share and that one even resulted in a marriage!  You just never know sometimes.  Oh yeah, Seth's last name isn't really "Tinder" .. but I bet you can guess why it is in my phone....

Anyways, now for some pictures from today!  Motorcycles are so fun.  We went to grab lunch at Panera Bread (so yum) and got some tecky stuff at Best Buy (needed two things for my projector and one thing for my car) and then we found some horses.  And by "found" I mean he plays polo and all the roads around the barn are way fun.  

Made a vine before heading out after Best Buy.  They need to allow links on those things.  Until then you can follow me on there to check those out.

I nerded it up by wearing my backpack for all my new toys for my projector .. Later I was able to keep my phone in that small pocket you see on my arm.  I normally keep my debit card and ID in that pocket on my lazy days when I don't want to carry a purse haha.

Good thing we have so many helmets in our garage.  The extra one Seth has was a little big.

Why does this photo look so awkward (other than the fact I'm in it)?  Seth needed to open/close the gate to the barn and so I just stayed on as he did that.

But here I'm posing haha.  I srsly would love to have my own bike someday.  Just need to start small and build my confidence for it.
