Haunted Corn Maze Date

So post today is about a date I went on awhile ago.  It was an awesome date, really chill but planned well .. planning is super important when it comes to a good date.  At least have an idea of what to do so you're not just standing around awkwardly trying to figure out something to do.  Spontaneity is great and all but you can't just rely on the potential of finding something to do.  Here's the video of what we did and then a few photos of probably one of my favorite fall outfits and the cool sites of Sauvie Island!

Week Ten 2013

Day 64
"Personal Space" fell in between two weeks since it was a two day post.

Someone on YouTube asked me to do a Q&A video.  The first few questions I got were around my marriage and my views on premartial sex..not what I was thinking people would ask about, but whatevs.  Haha.  To submit questions for the next time I do this you can ask here.

Day 66
So I was having a weird day..I attempted to make a few different videos and non of the topics seemed to feel right.  So here I'm just kind of tired and a little emotionally drained.  This was actually the first time I really didn't feel like doing a video at all.  But it's interesting to see me a bit down I guess.  I'm human after all.

I got a new projector and painted my room!  This definitely helped me feel much better after having a weird day on Thursday.  Check it here.

One of the things I find most sexy about a guy is his hair.  Yes .. I still stand by that every guy is different and can pull off different hairstyles..but I would prefer if he could pull one of these off:

Painted my room and got a new projector

So yeah, pretty self explanatory!  Haha.  I really hate the green walls I've had and so I finally got a new bed a few months ago and bought some new accessories for my room so it was definitely time to paint!  I got "Anonymous" Behr paint with the eggshell sheen.

And then this next video is the projector I got on Amazon.  I got the Acer X1161P 3D-DLP Projector.  It's sweet since I ordered it Wednesday and got it Friday!

The speakers I got were from QuiBids.  It's a penny auction website and I swear it works!  My ex and I used it all the time for things and it was pretty fun.  I recommend only doing it if you want whatever you're bidding for no matter what.  Like, if you want an iPad and are going to buy one regardless, try to win one on QuiBids first and then if you don't win, the money you spent bidding on the iPad you didn't win goes towards what you are already planning on buying.  That's really the smartest way to use this site.  I also recommend using it for gift cards.  That way you can buy the gift cards you didn't win but would use anyways.  Plus they have free shipping so worst case scenario you buy a restaurant gift card for full price that you'll spend regardless you best case scenario you get a full gift card for just a few pennies.

Last thing to mention about the video is the song I played when testing out the speakers with my laptop.  Nik and Ryan are filming their next video (this weekend maybe) and so there's a little preview of it.  It's a cover of Imagine Dragons' "Demons".  It's one of my favorite songs and I really like the cover they did!

B.Philthy Q&A #1

There was a request I did a Q&A so here it is ya philthies!  I'll do these videos periodically - and regardless to what I said in the video, I'll answer any type of questions you have.  I was just not sure what to expect from all of this.

One of the questions asked was about premarital sex .. and I answered the question in a different  way than whoever asked it was probably intended.  I know it's been awhile since I talked about the book How to Avoid Falling in Love with a Jerk but I want to get back to that.  My answer pretty much relates back to Chapter Two: The RAM Plan.  I encourage you to go back and view that post again so you can have a better idea of where I'm coming from this.  And I'll get back to reading that book so we can move along and continue to learn about having balanced relationships and anything else the author has waiting for us.

Personal Space

So here's the story of what happened last weekend...

And I did forget to mention a few other things..nothing major just like a "What...?" type things.

I had my make up done nicely.  Like..nothing too crazy just a "night" look but on the lower end of the scale.  Well..he noticed my make up and gave me a compliment saying it looked nice.  Aw..how sweet.  BUT THEN...he starts talking about how he used feel that girls should be "natural" but once he saw "natural" he thinks makeup is the way to go...if only I could say it in the tone of voice he said it.  Plus like..I would feel so self conscious being around him without makeup.  Like I would never want to go swimming around him unless I had one super dark tan and eyelash extensions in.  Srsly dude...too far.

And one other thing he threw into the end of the night..I guess when he was walking in to meet me he was thinking to himself "Please don't be fat.  Please don't be fat.  Please don't be fat.  Please don't be fat.  Please don't be fat."  Okay..again..thanks for making feel insecure about your views on healthy body image.

And here's the follow up video .. a few tips and stuff for meeting people for the first time .. more specifically from the internet or a blind date.  I have some more things but I'll add those later.

Mommy Daughter Date Night!

Stuck in traffic is no good...

Sweet another blog post for today!  Miss P and I decided to go see a movie tonight and get out of the house.  She really hasn't been out much since she's been sick lately so it was a nice change for her.

So I decided to take her to Cinetopia .. this is the theater I prefer to go to since I love love love love the Living Room theaters that they have (with the exception of Vancouver Mall...).  They also have these Movie Parlor theaters that I haven't seen a movie in yet but have been wanting to for so long so finally today we did!  And man, are those seats comfortable!!  Totally in love.  I made sure to bring a blanket..not because I thought it would be cold but because it's always nice to cuddle with a blanket and be all snuggly.  I'll also do a review of the movie we saw (Escape From Planet Earth) another night when I have some more time.

Then after the movie ended Pey and I went outside to the shopping center. My plan was to just go home then but Pey wasn't quite having it.  So we decided to share some froyo =) So yummy.  I always get chocolate with strawberries - def my fave.

It's cute too, I asked Pey if she wanted a strawberry (I had one on my spoon) and she politely declined .. but then asked me if I wanted some "chocolate" .. haha.  When I said "yes" she fed me some.  A minute later when she wasn't looking, I put some chocolate on her spoon (since it was empty) and when she looked back she smiled and took her bite.  And then she did it to me!!  Haha..she's so adorable..I LOVE cute moments like that!

And then..it was time to spoil baby one more time.  After we finished our treat we were walking around the shopping center and they had the cutest little toy store, Piccolo Mondo Toys.  We went in to take a look and she found a Hello Kitty toy she wanted.  It was super soft and I could imagine it in our room when I'm done redecorating so I got it for her.  Haha.  And not because it matches what I want to do but it's pretty neutral and .. super soft.

Alright..then we did one last stop.  Since it's Friday I knew Ulta would be getting their shipment in..haha.  I was there on Monday to get some nail polish from the new OPI Euro Centrale Collection (I got "Suzi's Hungary AGAIN!" & "Polka.com").  But they didn't have all the colors I wanted since they ran out.  So I stopped tonight to get them and now I'm wondering what I should do for my manicure next!  I also put links to what I got but OPI's website is only "www.OPI.com" so yeah...it's easy to maneuver so you'll be able to figure it out .. and for whatever reason OPI isn't listed on Ulta's website.  So yeah.
